Tohru hesitantly wrapped an arm around Yuki's back to help him, but then paused.
"Hatori-san--"
"I can drive. It isn't bad yet," he said.
"Oh, no I--"
"I insist."

Tohru eased out of the car, holding out her hand for Yuki. It was scary seeing him so...helpless. She prayed desperately that Shigure and Kyo were in better shape.
[ Anyone volunteer to do Shigure for now? ]

Yuki slid out of the car and took Tohru's hand. He still swayed as he walked and took small steps, like someone in the midst of flu. His skin grew palid, with a few dark spots blotching the surface. Since he walked with his head down, and he still wore the long sleeves of his uniform, it wasn't really noticable. He took his sweet time walking, but eventually made it inside and to his room.
He turned at the door and whispered, "I'm alright, I'm alright. I'm just going to lie down. Just lie down." He then stumbled into his room and onto the bed, where he collapsed.

Tohru stared at Yuki, wanting to make sure he really WAS all right but also worried that if she left him he might die without her being there.
Please don't think that...
"If you need me, just call for me," Tohru finally said. "Or...make lots of noise if you can't yell. I promise I'll be there really quick."

Yuki waved a hand to her then crawled into a more comfortable position on the bed.

Tohru stood by the door a few more seconds before grabbing the knob and closing it part way, leaving it slightly ajar so that if he did call, she would be able to hear.
She leaned against the wall near the door, putting a hand on her cheek. She knew full well the trouble she was going to have in helping them. But she didn't care.

The sounds of movement can be softly heard as Shigure appears from around the corner. He was carrying a few wash cloths and a small bowl of water. Walking down the hallway he notices Tohru against the wall.
"Tohru-kun. Glad to see that you're here," Shigure said softly with a slight smile. Although he was smiling it was obvious he wasn't in his normal cheerful mood. He looked tired and his voice had a unnatural melancoly undertone to it.
Looking toward Yuki's door he asked quietly, "How is he?"

Tohru straightened up quickly, bowing a bit. "Shigure-san, I didn't hear you coming!" she said fervently, raising herself back up. She bit her lip at his question. "I don't think he's well. He's very ill," she replied, casting worried glances at Yuki's door. "I hope you are doing okay, are you sick? Do you need me to buy medicines?!"

At hearing Yuki's condition Shigure lets out a small sigh, his expression rather grim. Looking back at Tohru he smiles slightly, "Tohru-kun, always thinking of others. There are a few medications that might help ease Yuki's condition." He pulls out a small piece of paper with a few names of medications scribbled on them. "I was just about to go out and get them. Take care of Yuki. And don't worry about me, I'm fine," he replied as he started to turn back down the hallway. Although he said he was fine, it was pretty obvious that he wasn't at his best.

"Wait, Shigure-san!" Tohru said as he turned. "Please forgive me, but I can't let you go out to buy medicines in that condition," she said, flushing. "Please allow me to go out and buy them myself. While I'm out, I could buy supplies for soup."
She waited with baited breath, hoping he wouldn't become angry at her request. A part of her doubted he would, but if he was really sick like Hatori and Yuki and wasn't showing it...well. She just hoped he wasn't in too much pain.

"Tohru-kun is too kind." He hands her the slip of paper, a slight look of relief crosses his face. "Be careful," he said with a slightly more cheerful tone.

Tohru let out her breath. "Thank you, Shigure-san," she said, taking the paper and bowing again. "I'll be home as fast as I can."
She hurried past him, smiling and going down out the front door. Grabbing her bike, she hopped on and started off down the street. The store wasn't really so far from Shigure's house after all.
She got there and picked up the medicines from over the counter, then searched quietly by the vegetable produce and picked up the things she figured were most likely not in the refridgerator, then visited the spice section. After getting her things, she checked out, then rode back home, her purchases safely in the basket.
Tohru rested her bike against the side of the house and carried her things inside into the kitchen, put them down for later, and grabbed the medicine.
"Now...what to do..." Thinking she should get two glasses of water (and worrying about the third, seeing as she had no clue where Kyo was) she headed upstairs, the glasses and bags of medicine in hand. "Shigure-san...? Yuki-kun...?"

"Tohru-kun, up here," Shigure called from the top of the stairs. He was really hoping that the medicine would have some effect. All their conditions seemed to be continually deteriorating and the outlook looked bleak. If something wasn't done fast then all hope would be lost.
Unfortunately for Yuki, his weakness to sickness would probably cause him to weaken faster. Time was running short.

Yuki stayed on the bed, eyes squeezd shut and mouth pressed down tightly in an effort to breath through his nose slowly. Breathing was always the first thing to go. Sleep didn't look like it was an option, his head felt full of cotton and his body ached. It felt like something was carving into him and leaving big, sore gaps. Eventually he achieved a state of semi-meditation, where he could feel himself exiting the body, and invariably the body's pain. He tried to stay there, floating lazily about the room while everything spun about and drifted through the air. (Yes, he's hallucinating. No, this is not his soul leaving his body in death. Honestly, my abstract descriptions can be completely lost on you sometimes )

Tohru looked up hearing the familiar, comforting voice, but froze seeing the seemingly serious way Shigure looked. She hurried up the stairs. Had her reality of Yuki's sickness been worse than what she had thought it was?
"Is Yuki-kun dying?" she asked, holding the tears flooding her eyes back, at least for a few more moments.

Yuki's eyes opened, and he felt jerked back into his body and the real world. The last few seconds replayed in his head as he tried to figure out what disturbed him. Was that Tohru's voice?
"Tohru?" he called out, but with his current condition (and the fact that he'd been holding his pillow too close to his mouth) it sounded more like, "Mumphf?" He wanted to raise his head to talk, but it took too much effort.
