((Okies, so I've finally read all of the manga that's out so far (Thanks to Rin) and I now understand the whole 'it's a girl' rumor thing better now! Soooo.... I wanted to make a thread at the main house with Akki being a girl... Even though only.... Six people know (Ren, Shi-chan, Aya-kun, Ha'ri, Kureno, Tohru). So yeah… I wasn't really planning for this to turn into the torture thread, because I feel like 'learning' about my abilities with Akki... I'm enjoying the breakdowns... Sooo... Anyone can join, and having someone weird show up would be cool... Like Tohru, Yuki, Kyo, Someone who wouldn't normally show up.... Ja.))
Pale sunlight drifted through the widow, splaying itself on smooth snow-white skin. Raven lashes crisscrossed, meshing together over pale eyelids. Smooth lips lay still, adding to the utter femininity of the girl’s face. A long pink and purple kimono draped itself around her, hanging lightly off of one pale shoulder. Slender hands were situated underneath her head, long fingers mingling with ebony hair. Hair that caught the sunlight, that shimmered in it’s short smooth locks. One leg crossed over another, stretched out to their full extent. The blanket was pushed to the far end of her feet, and cold wood flooring was all that cushioned her back.
She had, out of weariness, slept on the floor again, much to her doctor’s dislike. But, no one had moved her thin frame over to her futon, so the floor was going to have to do. It was already late morning, yet no one had come to wake her, so she silently assumed in her dreamless sleep that she was not needed as of yet.
(Oh, sorry for the total crappiness)

The “inside” of the Sohma Estates passed quickly before the girl’s eyes, though her mind wasn’t really on them. It was a beautiful morning, the bright sun light enlivening the usual pallor of her delicate features, and lending a gentle gleam to her otherwise cold dark eyes. Despite this, the girl (she could not, after all, have been over seventeen,) ignored the lovely morning, and the easy breeze. Perhaps because she was on a fool’s errand? Listening to Gure-nii could’ve been a bad idea. The girl could not have had time to contemplate turning back, as she reached what was easily the most luxurious home on the inside…if not in the whole Estate entirely. Isuzu Sohma, known as Rin to everyone, let loose her sharp intake of breath as she pushed back the paper door and allowed herself inside. Her high black boots had immediately been discarded by the door in an almost negligent fashion, and she padded in stocking feet down the hall to his room. The girl hesitated, staring at the wooden door for a long moment. She looked nervous, anxiously pushing back the dark thick strands that fell down to her thigh of her long dark skirt (slit up the leg though it was.) This might’ve been a bad idea. Rin reached up and rapped softly against the door, her long sleeve falling back around her fore arm. Here went everything.
(Don't apologize, mine is fairly mediocre. -kicks writer's block-)

Slowly, fair lids fluttered open, revealing curious grey eyes. She rose her head, ebony hair flopping sideways across her face. "Erm, come in...." The voice from the inside murmered, soon relaxing back down ino the spot she had found mildly comfortable before her awakening.

Rin took a tdeep breath and pushed the door open, her hair and skirt falling about her in a brisk fashion as she let herself into the room and stopping before the head of the family and, unfortunately, her God. "Akito-san," she said, her voice quiet. "I came to see you." A half-truth, really, and she hoped the man would not see the partial lie that lay in her words. Still, flattery seemed to appease him, so perhaps he would not.

Slowly her eyes widened, a look of masked astonishment crossing her face. Why is that girl Here? Just as slowly as they widened, they returned to normal, and slowly she rose, the kimono fluttering around her. "I know you are not here simply because you miss me, so why have you come here?" She stood up straight, hands at her sides, eyes questioning with a tinge of... what's that? Hope?

Rin's eyes widened only slightly, and she attmpted to cover up for herself quickly. "No, not just for that, though I did wish to see you," she said, adding the last part as though it were only an after thought. "Gure-nii suggested it, actually, when I admitted to curiousity about the bond between the Jyuunishi and our God." As soon as she said it, Rin knew she'd taken the dive too quickly. With Shigure, with Kazuma-dono, she didn't have to hide her motives. She did, hwoever, with Akito.

She had smiled, until her Shigure was mentioned. She opened her mouth to speak, but hesitated. "What did Shigure say... to you?" She asked, anger not yet found in her voice. It's been so long since I last saw him....

Rin paused, thanking any God but the one in front of her. No anger. She had to be more careful. "He told me that if anyone knew anythign about us, it would be you," she said. "He told me that it would be best for me to speak with you." Actually he'd strung her along a little, made her admit it was all for Haru, before crushing her suggestion and telling her to take it to Akito. Rin looked torn between curiousity and confusion; why was Akito so interested in Gure-nii? For all taht she was somewhat close to him, she found him large inpersonal, caring only for himself.
(Have you finished all the scans? I don't want ot say any spoilers if you haven't gotten up to 18.)

(Yes! I've finished them!) "Oh... I see." She murmured, clenching one fist tight. "He didn't mention coming here, did he?" She asked Rin this, silently hoping that she wasn't being too suspicious.

Rin shook her head, sending black bangs flipping across her forehead. "No, Akito-san," she replied quietly. "He did not." But why would Akito care whether he did or didn't? Shigure was living on the outside, and vague whispers of banishment had spread throughout the family, though the reason had never been revealed. If it was bad enough to send Gure-nii away why would the man care if he ever came back? "He only said I should come, though, he doesn't share his plans with me."

"I see..." She waved her look of utter disappointment away from her face. Maybe... He'd just rather surprise me... She turned her gaze back to Rin, trying to keep a straight face. "So, why have you come, to see me?" Her voice was almost impatient, like she was waiting for someone, and not paying attention to the girl in front of her.

"I-" Rin hesitated, taking a deep breath before couchoing down to Akitp's level on the floor, her long skirt spreading elgantly around her. "I wanted to ask you about this bond between the Jyuunishi and our God." /God./ The use of that word left a bitter taste in her mouth, though it did not show in her tone. "I assumed taht you would be the one who could explain it best to me." She was on shakey ground, and she knew Akito could take her words either way. He already sounded rather put off.

"Why?" She asked, sitting herself down once more. "You never cared before..." Her voice was a bit rigid, and suspicion was evident in her face.

Rin paused a moment, thinking. When she spoke, her words were shaking slighlty, though her gaze and stature were sound. "But I did. I have always wondered. This...connection between us to you, so that we listen and care only for you...." She paused, searching for a word. She couldn't say she wanted to be freed of it. "It interests me. The Jyuunishi, after all, are not connected in the least to each other." Not in the same way as Akito, anyway.

She turned her head sharply to Rin, voice retaining it's familiar acid. "If you always wondered, Why did you leave me for Haru?" Her eyes were pleading for an answer, but her voice was clearly not reflecting her childish wants.
