((I don't think you really need to convince anyone of that. Or at least I'm convinced of it. ^_^ But it's true that it's always fun to make people think that, especially when it concerns Akki-sama.))
He himself had not heard her giggle as if she really meant it in years. So it was no real surprise that he was surprised. However it didn't show on his face because out of everyone around he was the one most used to Akito's odd and sometimes dangerous mood swings.
'It's nice to see her like this.' he thought but didn't say, he didn't say, no he wouldn't ruin this moment he would leave that up to one of the others or Akito herself.

She liked seeing Kureo smile, it was oddly.... Comforting. Although she was no longer giggling, her smile was still evident, genuine and rare.
She lowered her head again, leaning back into Kureno and resting her head on the curve of his neck. Why can't it always be like this? I'm enjoying myself, happy and... Loved.

Feeling her put her head to his neck Kureno gently put his hand on her head in a comforting and loving gesture.
It was true his intentions when it came to staying with Akito were clear, or at least partially clear, only to a select few but even ih his motives weren't totally true or right it was times like this that such things didn't matter.
Still, it was almost ironic that the one who should have been the furthest away from Akito was actually the closest. Still life always threw curve balls and this was probaly no different.

Oblivious to the fact that Rin and Haru were most likely freaked out not only by Akito's relationship with Kureno, but the girlish giggling that had been heard moments before, she continued to rest on Kureno's shoulder, feeling fatigued and ill. She was obviously tired, it was telltale in th way she was relaxed, her shoulders wern't tense, her jaw unclenched, no pain evident in her features, aside from the plaugued look in her eyes.

(Hm, I must confess to being a little lost. Are Rin, Haru, and Hatori still there? I know it might sounds silly to ask, but....)

Rin glanced between Kureno and Akito, not answering the question the woman had posed to her. What do you have against my Kureno? What did she have against him? His general attitude, his being thr first to break the curse, then to not live to the full extent after doing so...basically, it was that she still could not break the curse, and part of her realized, she almost childishly blamed Kureno for this. Still, Rin remained quiet, unsure. Would she be allowed to reveal what she'd learned in front of Hatori-nii (did he know?) or Haru? Surely Haru hadn't known. He would've said something. Right?
(Thanks. A little absent minded today.)

Kureno, hearing Rin only being silent, looked to her by turning his head waiting for her reply. Hopefully Rinw ould answer because otherwise things might have got crazy again. And really that was the last thing they needed again.
Still, it was almost dangerous for her to reply. After all she and Tohru were the only ones who knew of him being free. And no one but him knew Tohru knew he was free. So that left Rin in the spotlight t answer the question without mistakenly revealing the truth.
"Please answer Rin." he said simply hoping that would snap her out of her silence.

When Akito was with Kureno she was a bit zoned out, he isolated her by only paying heed to her, and in turn she felt isolated around him. So, she had ignored Rin's siklence, feeling all to comfortable in the position she was in.
When Kureno spoke to Rin she only partly snapped out of it, the smile was slowly fading, and the pain was coming back shockingly fast. She winced, tensing hashly enough for it to be obvious to Kureno, and possibly Hatori. She snapped her eyes shut, clenched her jaw, and waited for Rin to reply, otherwise relaxation was not going to greet her warmly.

Rin paused, glancing at Hatori-nii and Haru, then over to Kureno. Her eyes took on a harder cast, then, though she did not glance at the woman in his arms. What to say? Se had to reply, but how bad would the punishment be if she revealed more than she was supposed to? "I believe that you know why I dislike Kureno," Rin replied, her voice carefully guarded. "If you asked me to explain more then that, I can't be held responsible for what else might come out." That was true enough, not a warning, so much as a reminder of who else was here.

Kureno said nothing in reply. He had felt Akito tense and so, to calm her stoked her head gently before he looked up to Rin to see if there was any lying in her eyes.
Of course he knew why Rin disliked him. The answer was obvious after all. But of course she was not answering the question for his sake but instead for Akito's sake, and partially her own as well because right now silence could as well have been deadly.
Of course he still had to remain his silence because it was not his place to say anything.

Although Kureno was relaxing her, it wasn't about to help her next remark. "Isuzu, do answer me. Now." She acted as if she hadn't caught Rin's previous statement, and she wasn't aware that Kureno would never forgive her until it was too late.

Akitp's response surprised her, and Rin narrowed her eyes slighlt,y glancing between them. Akito wanted an answer? Fine. Rin was damned angry, as she'd rarely been before. She was speaking before she even knew what exactly she was saying. "All right, because he's not one of us. He's not a Jyunishi, and he doesn't have any courage to say so! I've been looking for months, months for a way to break the curse, and I find out now he broke it before he was even my age? And then he comes in here, with some attempt at browbeating that I keep your secret and his? It's not as if we don't realize, no one's close to him!" She finished, her breath uneven, rage written blandly across once delicate features.
(It's so hard to write as Rin. I feel bad for being so mean! -hides-)

((Don't feel bad. All of us have to be mean sometime. And besides you're doing a good job.))
Slightly surprised at Rin's outburst Kureno said nothing. He only looked towards Hatori for a moment hoping the doctor wouldn't understand what Rin was saying. The chances were slim but he could always hope.
However he knew things had just probaly takena turn for the worst. Rin had just spoken the secret she had promised to keep revealed. And worse Akito was right here and not in a good mood.
Frowning Kureno wished he could explain everything. He wished he could tell Rin of what had happened so long ago. But he couldn't, that would have been hazordous for anyone, especially him. Sure, Akito probaly did know why he stayed around her but there was no reason to say why in front of her.

She froze up, body tense and unmovable. Oh no, Oh no, He'll leave me now!!! He hates me! He'll leave, nononononono!!!! Her heart skipped a beaat, her body was shaking, her eyes were wide. Her mouth was moving like a broken record, whispering the same word in sucsession. "He hates me, he hates me. He hates me," etc... Her words were loud enough only for Kureno's ears, but she felt like screaming them to the world.
