Rin paused, this easy, calm declaration of his love almost too much to just take. How could he just stand there, staring out a window, speaking as if it were a fact? It floored her. "You weren't there before." Despite her words, it wasn't an accusation. It was softer, one of the kinder tones Rin ever used, and even then, only for Haru. "I thought you would realize, but...." She shook her head, and turned from him, starting away, though not able to make an excuse for leaving. So, quietly, she pulled on her boots, and headed out the door of Haru's house. Perhaps he was still staring out the wondow, able to see.
(You should join. Akito has been mentioned far too much in this roleplay for you not to. ^^
Ah, crud. Just did. -headdesk- Better?)

(A. Sorry it took so long B. Sorry it sucks so bad)
The leaves crackled under pale feet, crunching and twisting as the owner plodded upon them ruthlessly. Trailing behind him the pink cloth dragged against the cracked pieces, catching them as it swept across. Leading up to his shoulders the kimono was a bit ruffled, showing that he obviously did it himself, re-enforced by the pale shoulders that were left bare by the lack of cloth. Pale arms hang by his sides, fingers fumbling randomly in the cloth. The arms lifted up, pulling the kimono closed again, freezing would be useless. But then again, does that matter? His hair wasn’t matted, instead it hung in silky locks in his face. His eyes stared around at his surroundings, the flowers in bloom, the cherry blossoms hanging upon the gangly trees. Disgusting. Why are these flowers so putrid, their smells are nauseating, not pleasant at all.. I must get them removed… Then he looked up, stopping dead in his tracks. Disgust changed to nothing. A poker face crossed his features, as cold grey eyes stared dead ahead. At his horse… At Haru’s house… Had he not warned her of the consequences? Now he would need to be brutal, if only to get the point across to his beloved horse. But today, he would do it in front of that stupid ox.

She had hardly stepped down the walk, scuffing her feet slightly, and glaring angrily down at the edge of her skirt. It was easier, it seemed, not to look back at him if she was focusing on something else. She wanted to go somewhere quiet. Perhaps sneak into Kagura's and just climb into bed and lay there for a while. Yes, she decided firmly, she just needed to step back. When she looked up, though, it seemed fate was unendingly cruel and would not let her do that. Her eyes widened, and her body tensed. She knew what was coming. He'd seen her leaving Haru's hosue, for God's sake! "Akito-san." Funny how her voice hadn't shook when lying to Haru, but it did now.
(A, no problem, I'm doing a Mid-term paper while I'm on here, and B, that did not suck. It was awesome, damnit.)

(A. Sigh-of-relief, B. I was so un-descriptive though >.<)
He continued to walk nearer to her, so that Haru would see him through the doorway. His lips broke into a slight smile. A devious smile. A dangerous smile. "Isuzu-kun, might I ask what you were doing here?" The words slipped from his mouth, calm yet dripping with hateful acid.

Rin looked into those cold, cold eyes. How could anyone live that way? So hateful, so cruel? The irony struck her that she probably could be described as the same sometimes. Or it would struck her if she wasn't so completely terrified. She couldn't fight back, she couldn't stop him, and she was as good as dead. "Akito-san," she repeated, and paused a moment, before adding, "I heard something. Haru went black, I'm not staying." That was the truth, or some botched form of it.
(Eh, I liked it. It really wasn't bad.)

Slowly he walked closer to the horse, his kimono dully scraping the leaf ridden ground. He approached her, his face inches from hers. "What did we last discuss about Hatsuharu?" He asked, his voice no more than a loud whisper in her ear. "Do you remember, or shall I review?"

Rin stared down into those eyes, hers unwavering, though they lacked their usual challenge, her stance, it's usual careless confidence. She opened her moutht o speak, but did not say anything for a moment. "I...I was supposed to leave Haru alone. Don't come near him, don't talk to him." She added, quietly, "Or else."

Haru had seen Akito approaching his house. His eyes widened and he knew Rin was in trouble. He'd heard her leaving, even though she'd been very careful not to. He turned and ran out of his room and with a quick jump into his shoes, he went outside to survey the scene. Please don't do this Akito... Not now, not ever... She doesn't deserve it... He thought to himself while staring at them. His eyes were solemn, and it was easy to see that he was tense, and nervous. He stood at the steps to his porch and watched. He'd only jump in if needed.

He smiled that smile again. So many bad memories with that god-forsaken grin of his. He drew his head back from hers, opening his pale lips to speak again. "You must be a glutton for punishment Isuzu, it appears I will have to show you the hard way what true pain is..." He grimaced, as if showing momentary remorse. But in a split second that was gone, and his hand was slapping hard across Rin's pale face, his own still carrying that devious smile.
(Don't worry Haru, You'll be needed)

Rin flinched, pain flaring and receeding across her cheek, and a pink spot leaving it's mark there. She couldn't see Haru, her back was too the house, and her focus was solely on the boy in front of her. He was onyl her own age, perhaps not even that, and yet.... She let him do it. She couldn't fight him because of the curse. "Akito-san," she said quietly. "Not here. Don't do this here?" It was the closet she could get to pleading, but she couldn't stand to let Haru see this.

(Obviously Haru will be needed. 0.0)
In that split second, Haru's anger soared. He would give anything to knock Akito flat on the floor, but, knew better of himself and strided closer. "Leave her alone." His voice was dark, almost threatening. He knew what troube he'd get in, but, he was not going to watch Rin get hurt right in front of him. "It was my fault she even came, I forced her." He half-lied, eyes not showing any signs of fear.

The smile dropped from his face, replaced with nothing once more. He turned his head, looking Hatsuharu dead in the eyes. "No." He was taunting the cow, trying to get him to lunge forward. "How could you, the stupid Cow. How could you force Isuzu-Koi to go with some stupid scum like You?" He knew what was coming, and he would find it all too amusing. Turning his pale features to Rin again he looked over her. "You aren't so weak that you'd let the Cow force you.. Are you Isuzu-kun?" He taunted her, his voice acidic again.

Rin looked over her shoulder, turning and pulling away to keep both boys in her sight. Damnit. He was here, too? Of course he was, he'd been looking out that damned window. "He didn't force me to do anything," she said, deftly. She hardly cast a glance at Haru now, her eyes on Akito and waiting for the next attack that was sure to come. "I came here on my own, knowing what you would do."

Haru's eyes caught that crazed look again and he reached out, grabbing Akito's kimono so that he could pull the weaker boy closer, "I'm not stupid..." He hissed, his tone gaining that arrogant coldness that he recieved in his other personality. Black Haru. "Stop harassing her, she's leaving for good and she won't be back. It's over, forget it." He somewhat pushed Akito back, meanwhile releasing his hold on the frail boy's kimono. He continued to stare at Akito, anger coursing through his veins.
(Ugh, bad post.)

"Fine Hatsuharu-kun... She will never be coming back." He smiled that smile, smacking Rin across the face again, with intent to knock her down. "Since you came here on your own free will, and since I told you never to be around him again. You are banished. If ever I see you on the Sohma estate once more, aside from our gatherings, He" He strengthened his tone, pointing to Haru," will be the one to pay." He turned to Haru again. "There. I'm glad I could please one of my Jyunishi today." He stated this triumphantly, with another comment to follow. "I do not need scum such as her on my property anyways."
((I enjoy plot twists))
