(I'm just sick of dark RPs so I desided to start something fun. Feel free to join, the more the merrier!)
Kisa Sohma sat in the park reading a book. Her orange hair fell in her face and she pushed it back again. She had a small smile on her face from the story, and her posture, very relaxed, revealed that she was open and happy, unlike most of the time.
She turned away from the book to gaze at the tall trees that surrounded her and sighed with pleasure. This was her favorite place. Away from people and noises.
She continued to read her book, giggling at the funny parts.
(Lame-O, But I'm tired right now. Sorry.)

It would seem that she was no where. He'd tried her school, but as middle school was let out before elementry, he'd been somewhat late and she must've already left. How annoying. He tried her house, but her mother had simply smiled, and said something about the park, so he headed back across the small town to where the park was. The trek alone was enough to annoy him, and had it been for anyone other than Kisa, chances were, Hiro Sohma would not have bothered with it. The twelve year old boy (almost thirteen, thank you,) scuffed his boots irately against the sidewalk as he neared the enterance to the small park. How was it she new all his hang outs and he never managed to keep track of hers? It was rather annoying. He glanced up at the afternoon sky, sandy brown hair falling across his fair, almost delicate features. He brushed them away with an annoyed hand. It was a nice day out, to be sure, but somehow that seemed lost on the tiny cynic. Well, in all honesty not that tiny. He was tall for a sixth grader, and that combined with his intelligence often led people to think him older then he was. Then they talked to him, and soon after that, they didn't care how old he was, they were contemplating murder. Hiro had that effect on people. His temper was hot, his tongue sharper than his mind sometimes, though the large, almond shaped brown eyes (easily his most captivating feature,) would not have suggested that to anyone. Perhaps it was because deep down he really was a good person, just a confused kid, really. Suggest that, however, I'll be shocked if you don't get a lecture that'll leave you dumbfounded. Still, he was not in the mood for lectures or snappy retorts today. He wanted to see Kisa. As he headed into the enterance way of the park, those eyes of his caught on a flash of orange hair. Kisa, and she was reading. An awkward look crossed his face, almost as though nervous, but it was soon replaced by his usual careless expression. He stuffed his fists into his jacket, branded across the back with a skull and eyepatch, and wandered over to where Kisa sat. Apparently not caring for his jeans, he took a seat next to the smaller, if older girl. "Hey, Kisa."
(Erm, sorry, somewhat of a ranty post. ^^)

Kisa glanced up and smiled. "Hello Hiro!" She said brightly. She returned to reading her book, however her reading wasn't the same with someone else there. Finally, she put the book in her bag and looked up at Hiro. "How are you today?" (Sorry about the shortness...)

(No worries. I type too much, anyway. ^^)
"Fine," Hiro said, shrugged. A generic reply to be sure, though he meant it. Neither bad, nor good, though things were certainly looking up now that he'd found the fellow Jyunishi. He watched her as she tucked her book away, and for a moment his eyes were unreadable when he finally met her gaze and muttered, "I looked for you after school today, but you weren't there." No sooner had he said it, than he realized how childish he sounded, so he quickly added, "I didn't know you were planning on going to the park today."

Kisa smiled at him. "I'm sorry for not telling you." She pulled her self up and streched. She was about to pick up her bag to return home from the park when she got an idea. "Hiro, do you want to play Hide and Seek with me?"

Hide and Seek? How old was he, five? Hiro didn't say that however, and the look on his face had not twitched so much as an inch at her suggestion. Hide and Seek? Childish. Hide and Seek with Kisa? Well, if it was what she wanted, he wouldn't mind playing. He stood as well, with an easy sigh, and a slight tilting of one shoulder in an almost lethargic shrug. "Don't worry about it; I didn't see you for long earlier, anyway. You wouldn't have had time to tell me." He paused a moment, as if thinking. "Sure," he finally said. "Who's 'it,' though?" Kisa was the onyl one, it seemed, for whom Hiro would make such an exception.

Kisa thought for a moment, then glanced around and, leaning close to Hiro, whispered, "You!" Then she was off running to find a good hiding spot.

It. Such a derogitory name, for all that it was a game. I mean, you're refering to a kid as 'it' that's just waiting for an inferiority complex. Well, not that Hiro would ever be given an inferiority complex by anything (quite unfortunate, really,) but that was what ran through his mind as he closed his mind, leaning against one of the nearby trees and counted to himself. Hm, thirty six, thirty seven.... How much were you supposed to count up to, anyway? Fifty? Seventy five? One hundred? Yeah, that last one would work.
Hiro counted quietly to himself for a few more moments, his voice a quiet murmur under his breath as he kept track. And, suddenly, his eyes shot open, and a half smirk graced his face. "One hundred. Here I come." He started across the park. Now, where would Kisa be?

Kisa dashed around a tree and giggled. She then moved to another tree farther away. She watched Hiro make his way closer, and she moved to another tree.
