Haru had had it with Akito. He grabbed Akito's wrist and with one of his strangest, menacing tones he said, "Remove your hand from her hair..." He growled ever so threateningly.

Tohru instinctively felt the satisfaction Akito would receive if she cried, so she held herself in with all of her effort. "Because...he..." she trailed off, her words trembling, slowly reaching out to touch the wrist that Hatsuharu was already holding.

Akito trned sharply to Hatsuharu, his eyes regaining their former anger. "I was speaking to Tohru-chan" He said sharply, almost as an order for the cow to release his arm. He looked awkwardly at Tohru's hand, as most would be backing away from him, she only neared closer, "What are you doing?" He asked her curtly, his voice coming out harshe than he had meant.

"You're trying to hurt her... Like you do to everyone in the Sohma family... We didn't chose this fate for you, you didn't either.... And yet, it seems to me that you take your anger out on everyone else... but, whatever.. I've learned my lesson..." He let go of Akito's hand and started to walk away.

Every vein in her body was screaming for fear. She could nearly feel the blood pulsing through her skin, and her face was most likely flushed. She had seen and felt Akito's wrath, but it was so fluctuating that she never knew what was right or wrong to do.
She didn't reply to his question, and if she tried, she probably couldn't, for her voice would have broken. She didn't question why he was here, simply accepted that he was, and didn't allow herself to feel any hatred or dislike, instead focusing on Akito.
A sob threatened to escape her chest and she bit down on it, the effort making her chest expand as if it would explode. Her hands closed around his hand, still holding her hair. Her concentration steeped, and she was only vaguely aware that Hatsuharu had walked away.

He looked at Tohru again, seeing the pain he was causing her. I tore him in two, part of enjoyed seeing the fear in her eyes, and part of him wants to stop his selfish reign over the Sohmas. But more than anything, he just wants to die.
He looked her right in the eye, then spoke five monotone words "Why are you touching me?" His voice contained no emotion, for he did not know what to feel. When he looked at her, he felt disgust, but was she really all that revolting? Or was she just so... cheery, that it dampened his depressing outlook on life?

He walked into the less bustling hallway and looked around. Suddenly he found himself confused again. He needed an abandoned room again. He disappeared down the hallway and moments later, the sound of things being thrown around the room could be heard clearly. Haru stood in the center of all the damage, doubled over panting.

Tohru pondered this slowly, as if she wasn't in the midst of Akito but deciding what to make for dinner. "Because no one else does," she stated, raising her other hand to thread her hair out of his fingers, trembling all the while. At any moment he could snap and rip the hair out of her head, she realized, or squeeze her fingers and break the bones in her hand. Though his sickness weakened him, he was far stronger than Tohru.

Akito's hand clenched on her hair, his eyes empty. He just looked at her, not pulling on her hair, not causing her any pain, he couldn't do it, the want wasn't there. He let go, the strands falling through his pale fingers, his face blank, but his eyes, those cold, heartless eyes. They were now filled with pain, for without it being her intention, she had just made him realize something. She was not the revolting one, he was.

Haru continued with his havoc on the items in the room. He finally dropped to his knees in the center of the room, two hands reached up to his somewhat battered face. He hated being this angry and saddened, he hated having feelings for people, and worst of all... he hated himself. He merely sat there, silently and shakingly, contemplating over past events.

When Akito released her, Tohru fell onto her knees, head bent. Her hand reached up to hold onto a desk to support herself to stand, uncertain about what had just happened, but feeling suddenly uncomfortable alone with Akito, and the abrupt change of emotion in the room. She couldn't remember a time when she had faced Akito alone without another Sohma, and with Hatsuharu gone...
She let out her breath, her hands finally finding a desk leg. Tohru clutched to it like a lifeline, amazed at how drained she felt...but in a very different way than how she felt after a hard day's work. She wasn't sure she liked it...and she wasn't even sure if it was over.

Akito looked at the form in front of him, seeing how fragile she truly was. He bent down, his pants ruffling as he did so. With one finger he tilted her head up, as two words that have never been spoken from the head of the family's mouth were released, "I'm sorry." He said, looking the young girl in the eyes.

Hatusharu couldn't handle the confusion. So, he merely sat there, shaking with every thought swimming within his mind. He found it hard not to destroy something else, though clearly plenty was destroyed. He was not able to calm himself and he feared the worst would happen if he didn't calm himself on hhis own.

Tohru flinched when he touched her, expecting him to strike her at any minute. Her fear overcame her urge to trust him, and the words that came out of his mouth scared her more than anything Akito had ever said or done to anyone that she had ever heard of. A small cry escaped her mouth and she drew back, raising a hand over her face.

Akito lifted himself to his feet, "I see." was all he said, he felt rejected, and he knew he deserved it. He pointed a hand down at Tohru, if she need support to stand. Psh, Akito, being supporting, sounds oxymoronic. But then again, he had been acting rather strangely throughout all of today.
